Gender Equality Plan

Why are we talking about?

Gender equality is a fundamental value of the European Union and is one of the UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs). Gender equality in research and learning ensures that R&I systems support democratic and equal societies

Since the very beginning Asociacija Dronea, with the support of its member companies, has developed objectives and a strategy that reflects our values of diversity, equity and inclusion. We feel at our best when every member of the team feels respected, included and heard - when everyone can show up as they are and do their best work every day

We understand that our experiences and attitudes, based in part on our gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability and other unique characteristics, make our team stronger

At Asociacija Dronea we are not all the same

We believe that having a broad range of perspectives and ideas fosters innovation, creativity and effectiveness for our association and the members of our companies

This Gender Equality Plan applies to Asociacija Dronea and is being actively communicated and disseminated within the Asociacija Dronea as well as being published on the website.

Overall responsibility for the GEP implementation and review rests with the Chairman of the Asociacija Dronea.

However, all staff as well as members have an obligation to adhere to and support the implementation of the GEP. In addition, Asociacija Dronea will inform all existing employees, suppliers and business partners of the GEP and their role in the implementation and monitoring of the GEP.

New employees and members will be given notice of the GEP on accession to the Asociacija Dronea.

Asociacija Dronea expects our suppliers and business partners to follow the spirit and intent of this GEP and share our commitment to respect GEP, when working for or together with us.

Commitments

Implementation

Employees will be provided with appropriate training regardless of sex, race, marital status, disability, age, part-time or fixed term contract status, sexual orientation or religion.

All employees will be encouraged to discuss their career prospects and training needs with the Chairman of the Asociacija Dronea.

Asociacija Dronea will require all our contractors to comply with this GEP and offer training to this end.

Training

Asociacija Dronea will establish appropriate information and monitoring systems to assist the effective implementation of our GEP.

This will allow ongoing review of the impact of the plan as well as keeping the wider community informed and engaged in the progress towards gender equality.

The effectiveness of the GEP will be reviewed regularly (at least annually) and action was taken as necessary.

The core information and commitments outlined in the published GEP will be compliant with the general data protection regulation (GDPR). This means that characteristics of each individual including age, gender, disability, education, ethnicity, language, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, marital or family situation and socio-economic status are taken into consideration if sensitive.
